Unique Identifier Non-Reuse Policy

Ensures unique identifiers (customer ID, order number, asset tag) are never reused even after deletion or archival.

Business Rule

ID reuse causes confusion in historical data, audit trails, and data lineage.

Technical Implementation

Use auto-incrementing integers or UUID/GUID. Implement soft deletes instead of hard deletes. Archive records rather than purging.
